Now that Checkpoint and High Speed are gone its time to look for my next title.
I was hoping to find a Stern (easy to get parts) in the 4-5 K range.
Not a huge fan of toys or crowded pfs.
Top contenders:
NBA
Elvis
Hard to know what is in my range with prices now....
Shoot for a multiball Williams sys 11. High Speed, F14, etc.
Lots of fun and easy to move later when you may want to upgrade.
My HS was error free from day 1. Great solid game.
Didn't fit through my doorways without taking the door off.
I would think the CPR would play faster and look a bit nicer with the lack of the mylar.
Naturally there will be some time to wait to install wgile you are curing any extra layers of clearcoat.
Good pin or not after a while I just tire of them and want something fresh and different.
I myself would rather sell off my older pins to finance a newer one with more modes.
I have come a long way since starting with a free Wizard!
I still miss playing Alien Poker I just don't think I want to...
I played it in Simcoe aswell. I kinda liked the wide open feel and lack of toys.
Of course all the pins on the route that come to BP are beat to hell. Avatar was just nasty.
Have a solid HS that I originally got from ToPEC. This has seen the route at one time. Has some wear but no raised inserts.
Have added the 2 helicopters and also original topper.
The bad: tape on the display as pic. Touched up a ding to the rop right of the head front. Ramp has a crack near/exit...
Sold. For $1500 and picked up today to a Pin Rev member.
Hate to see a machine go but if it provides for a multi mode machine then its a means to an end.
I got my High Speed from ToPEC for $2500 -my trade in (Wizard!).
Game runs great and has never broke down. I swapped out the kickback plunger and added the 2 helicopters and also aquired an original toppers (I don't have headroom for). I also recently noticed a crack at/near the ramp exit amd...
I have a high speed I could part with.
Also have a new member (rockin) interested in my Checkpoint. I could do a package deal for them both if you 2 are near each other.
Sounds like the seller needs a 'REALITY' button.
If that piece of pinball gets $750 I am grossly underestimating the value of my collection.
"That's pinball baby" (tm) does not apply.
Great selection of games to play.
Not too good for parts.
At least I got to play Big Juicy Melons and it had the fruit crate bottom.
Love that game, not the price for what you get.
Played a few games of Heavy Metal Meltdown, Indy500...
Played all my old favourites and have a long prospect list...
What kind of problem(s) are you having?
I ditched my EM years ago as my tech didn't enjoy working on it.
I always suggest a new fuse holder at step 1.
I recall after cleaning all my contacts I had to check the gap on quite a few.
I will be giving the union some props and will be wearing one of my Unifor tees to this event.
Can't say I have really met too many of you.
At least you'll be able to put a face to my rants.
Anyone know if there is a pin on location in the 401 service center between London / Windsor?
Bridge toll...
Anyone know the person looking for a machine in Bellville with the Checkpoint pf pic?
I could use some spare CP parts.....
The pf looks "touched up". And by that I mean the shooter lane seems to not have any tire treads. I didn't really scrutinize too much at this preliminary time.
I am so jealous Dude.
Sure hope it had a cup holder for your white russian.
I just want to hear the call outs: "Don't fuck with the Jesus", "Shaddup Donny!"
I hear Mike Holmes isn't popular with his fellow contractors....
Maybe that home wprk fpr a pin ad is still active on kijijii.
Can't recommend anyone in your area. If you were near me I would have a above and below board pick.
