    Repro Ramps - Starship-Fantasy

It's the right side. It's only cracked, but it's one of those unsightly things that will drive me nuts unless I fix/hide it. There are no Cliffy's for NASCAR other than the universal rollover switch protectors. Marco sells protectors made by Stern but they are $75 each. Give me a break...

    Repro Ramps - Starship-Fantasy

I can see Stern being upset, but if they wanted $ all they would have to do is actually make the parts. For example, my NASCAR has a broken ramp. It's from 2005. Every vendor is sold out and some of the older threads on Pinside are saying Stern has decided to not bother making more. WTF...

    Repro Ramps - Starship-Fantasy

Cool website. I wonder if they will start repro'ing ramps for newer games any time soon? Thank you for posting!

Dr@No's fun filled (and often long-winded) restorations

That last photo is incredible. You could tell someone it was the engine out of a time machine and they would believe you. So complex, yet so simple. It must have been awesome to design things like this back in the day.

DIY - Light Up LED Flipper Buttons

Creetch... I should have known better that to look in this thread. :) Simple solution and it looks great. I've been thinking of designing something in a 3D editor and printing it out on Shapeways. Currently I'm designing it for my F-14, but if it works I'll try to adapt it for other pins...

Dr@No's fun filled (and often long-winded) restorations

This is just plain cool. My only question would be how do you colour match a Sharpie? They come in many colours, but some colours even Sharpie does not make.

Original themes and women's titles from Stern?

One word: Frozen (by Disney/Pixar) as a pinball theme would sell.

    CPR Repro Plastic Sets

Oh man, I must resist... Those F-14 repro's are beautiful! I'm lucky I have no way to rivet the clear plastics back together due to them being those special rivets.

    PAPA Pinball Video Search Tool

Thanks for posting. This search is soooo much faster. Is it just me or is the PAPA search deathly slow?

    What movie deserves a pinball?

Blues Brothers for me. Some great sound effects and music in that one. This theme might be a bit out of the demographic though. I have a few years on most of the members here. :)

Pinball licencing 101: how much, why – and Harry Potter

*Reposting here as I didn't get any reply or comments over at MAACA. Very cool read Pavlov. I've wanted to know about licensing forever. Glad you asked him about Harry Potter, although most of us already knew the answer to that one. It does seem there is a glimmer of hope there thought. I...

It's kinda cool. I hope they didn't use a decend Pin-Bot for this conversion.

What Do You Do? Promote Yourself!

Both. I did not have a permanent rink that I worked at. I started off on Zamboni and then moved to Olympia. Olympia's were cheaper, but more reliable to work with so the City slowly converted over and sold off most of the Zamboni's to High School's.
