I heard back from Stern. My part is now back in stock and was shipped out today.

Last time on my other machine the part was in stock. I just find it hard to believe that a part for a machine currently 'in production' would be so hard to get.

I had to send an email to the person I dealt with at Stern for status on my part. I took the liberty of CCing Jerry. A 300 pound paperweight with a warranty is still a paperweight without the proper parts.

I have been waiting over a month for a warranty opto. WTF Can't even tell me if Stern has bothered to ship it, or found it when they could not find it listed. Maybe they will just string me along until warranty is over...

Must be someone from the local area league that could chime in and help you out. STtNG is billed as a very hard machine to keep at 100% working.

Anything you plan to keep over the long haul is worth investing in sone spare parts. I bought a spare top, liner and jacky for Aerosmith after only one game of watching it launch balls at it.
