Bill Davies is the OG clear coater... I remember talking to him over 15 years ago about restoring my Fathom playfield before CPR even existed... this thing is cool just because he cleared it! I did sell my LOTR but as good as the playfield was in it I think I would have kept it and bought this...

I think Dino has tried it in a metal backbox, I had installed one on a wooden backbox without spacers without issue... not sure on the Metal ones though.

Metallica is one of the best coloured games for PIN2DMD in my opinion... right on par with the ColorDMD version... again in my opinion.

Paul from https://virtuapin.net/ is there too... he has a variety of parts available including powder coated legs... basically cabinet parts, anything you could use on a vpin that you could use on a real pin, levellers, coin doors, latches, check out the site. I'd recommend reaching out to him...

If you haven't done the LOTR Shaker upgrade yet... do it! Dave offers a great deal on the shaker and chips and it really adds to the game, easy install too. Good post on pinside with directions on how to do it.
