Thanks for the props Tim.
I went into it hoping I could help and glad that I could. Luckily it was similar to another problem I had on one of my machines a while back.
I've also been on the receiving end of a lot of help with my own EMs and have gotten a lot of good advice on reading schems and...
Thanks, as always.
Always happy to share the fun.
No update today. I Decided to take a proper break and, instead, went out and helped fix someone else's machine tonight
I'll get back at it tomorrow.
Thinking I'll strip all the woodrails next.

Today I printed up some new feature adjustment labels for the bottom panel and new instruction cards.
I stapled and glued a few down and then proceeded to get the panel mechanisms all re-attached.
Always nice to see fesh cards on a game...

I'm 15 days into the project and just trying to get through all the small stuff as I get ready for the largest part of the job... the cabinet. Since most of that work will have to happen at my shop at work, I'm focusing on a few other small tasks I can do...
NO SLEEP TILL A-TOWN!!!

Monday was hectic at work and, while I managed to bring in some parts, there was zero opportunity to get anything done.
In the evening I got started on a few random tasks. If you do a lot of little things, they will eventually become a big thing. So, with...

I've been a little lax these last couple of days with my progress posts. Dealing with SkitB fallout hasn't helped.
Anyhow, without further ado, Sunday...
In keeping with my day of rest theme, Sunday seemed to have just been an extension of my pretty lazy...
Lots of guys bring one-off games to shows with little to no intention of production... just to showcase what they've done.
But, I'll agree that this didn't feel like that. These guys were actively marketing the game for sure and driving all over the country to do it.
Bob,
I could try and touch it up for you but, without stripping the playfeild, it would be impossible to clearcoat and protect the area.
I know Brock did a nice job on his Pinball Pool and managed to do some spot clear, but you'd still want to remove some stuff.
I've also done acrylic touchups...
It should also be noted that every CC company will have different policies and the dates will vary for everyone according to when your payments were actually made.
Visa informed me that their normal cut-off is about 150 days, but this case would fall under a special circumstance in which they...
I would imagine Kevin would want to keep his ass out of further legal action and either keep or destroy the game.
I know which one I would do if I were him.
I wouldn't want to see that thing ever again.
And, in hindsight, the idea that a couple of regular Joe's with no experience or a real...
I have exchanged positive emails with Kevin as well as opened a claim with Visa.
Although there are certain time limitations and some of my money was paid beyond that limit, having written acknowledgement from Kevin that those monies were taken and are owed, strengthens the claim for the larger...
Did I misinterpret things or wasn't Martin admittedly attempting to also keep things under wraps while he gathered information for his article and also asked this mystery group (probably including C2C) to stay quiet in order to give Kevin every possible opportunity to try and get things sorted...

Weekends are pretty packed with family stuff and I'm also working on a bathroom reno so I don't get as much done on this project during Sat/Sun as I would like.
For several days I've been promising myself I would take a break for one evening. After all...
Thanks man... but I think you had the bigger and more impressive step to take. I Dont want to trivialize it, but this stuff comes kinda easy to me. I'm not exactly pushing my boundaries... it's just fun for me and also distracting enough of a passtime to unwind to. Seeing you jump in with both...

Today was fun.
The repaint on my right rail was cured and I was able to get it onto the playfield and also install the card holders. It's a small thing but these small moments are what I love most about the process. That first time you can start to put...

Playing a little catchup on my updates.
With 10 days in I've managed to finish cleaning every contact in every relay, stepper unit and the score motor.
No really sexy pics to post today, just a peek into the mess of switches that I had to go through...
