While I agree tighter is always better.... hehehe The ring below is sufficient. Hard to tell from the picture. It isnt AS stretched as the upper smaller ring, but it sits fine in real life.

You are correct on the first half, and normally I would just use the two rings, but unfortunately the location of that barrier is right at the upper gate, which causes the ball to stop and sit. That ring is in the manual, and will be tremendously nice if the ball never gets stuck there again on...

Went to SB to pick up a couple missing rubbers, and got an led while there. Appreciate the offer mwong, will take you up on playtime, but thought Id grab the bulb today so I can hopefully get it all buttoned up tonight.

Swapped a 3/4" for the 1 1/4" that was in there.... Seems to be better, no way I could stretch anything smaller on there.

Just re-rubbered my R&B and noticed the new ring in one location is sitting against a bulb. It isn't pushing it or anything, but there is contact. Should I be worried?

I didnt buy a kit, but I went by the manual at the SB parts counter. Just weird that Im missing the two sling shot rubbers completely. They were on my invoice, but never found their way into the bag.

Well, it was mostly correct, but it seems Starburst forgot to give me the sling shot rubbers. Just didnt get them at all, even though I paid.

Officially learned that the rubber replacement page in the manual for R&B is slightly incorrect. I will be heading back to Starburst tomorrow to pick up a few extra rings, and replace a couple they gave me mistakenly. Anyone need anything picked up? I can grab it and you can pick up from me...

Started the tear down of my R&B... Never ever done this before, and have learned that Old plastic is not Strong plastic. LoL Some of the rubbers were disgusting and Im only about half way through.

Im about to do the whole playfield clean and re-rubber to my R&B.... Havent had the time, or the confidence to start it yet.

Its possible, and like I said, it would be VERY easy to translate to a pinball game. Just use bits of each movie, run a mode for each main character, 3 villains to choose from, Dr. Doom (obivous), Silver Surfer (sort of a villain), and Galactus (easily the final mutli-ball battle) You can even...

I know the movies are from a handful of years back, but the Fantastic 4 theme might be pretty awesome. 4 main characters/modes, Dr. Doom, Silver Surfer... thats quite a loaded machine if you ask me.

Im wondering what they may have that isnt current Stern lineup.
