I personally love the fruit crate inspired art. There are certainly plenty of other machines that are mature themed or have translighrs available. Game play will be the make or break.

Then I guess I will seek out the 1 watt resistor to give the dmd the best chance of lasting long. I want to be sure when I am ready to move on from Checkpoint that it has the best chance of being issue free for a long time.

My tech buddy is suggesting that I could use a 33k 1 watt resistor if I can"t find the half watt. He claims that the 1 watt will be able to handle the voltages better. I think I will hold out and see if I can get 2 of the correct one. I am a bit leery about where any of the excess voltage might go.

Yeah, I have a spare coil. Just needed to be sure that was the only issue going forward. Planning on some downtime on this machine in the near future to address a few things.

I just used the old shaft from the flipper to strech the inside of the plastic coil sleeve. It was just sticking the off time. Works great now.

Checkpoint has a slingshot that occasionally stays out after deploying. I can hit the flipper button and it will return. I can wait it out and it will return. Pm me an email and I will send some pics and some details. Its next to go after Checkpoint. I got my HS from ToPEC and it runs like a tank. Only issue free machine I have ever owned. Added 2 helicopters and a original topper. I want to step up to another multi mode machine.

Kinda funny I got the machine in Delhi at an auction. Some ex tobacco farmers entertainment stash for his workers. There was also 3 upright video game cabinets at that one. I got lucky 90% of the time the farmer auctions are EM machines.

A place with no harbour or rattlesnakes. Can't trust those people..... ;)

Thanks for the link up. I am pretty computer illiterate. Also of note machine has the original pf glass with a de sticker. Really needs a fresh one. Fun machine to play my first dmd and shaker motor pin.
