I was looking at this theme before getting Elvis.
I would suggest:
Nba fastbreak (linked is fun at VFW)
Stern nba (based close to SJ)
Space jam
Shaq attack (shot clock usually does not work in these and ia very hard to find)
At least that's my opinion of value for playability.
At least with the kijiji favourites I can keep track of the Nascar in Ottawa (area). I don't think they will get $5200 for a huo....
Good to keep track at where the pricing craziness is at for a machine I have. Even if it's my current dog...
Hey, you can always ho withthe base kit for $3499.....
As it is a business listing don't forget the HST.
I was on the cusp of virtually buying but ran out of virtual money.
So we have
Spiderman Gottlieb
Sterns
Spiderman (I would guess black as best here)
Spiderman vault
Spiderman home with the colour dmd
That's a lot of bugs in one theme.
So what is the value difference for a VE model?
I would assume a flood of newer re-releases kills the value of all the non limited models.
Maybe even the LEs if the vault shared some of their limited features.
If I was starting out I would look at what some of the more common sought after trade pins.
There are plenty of decently priced pins I have seen in a few trade lists (eg eight ball deluxe, fish tales, grand lizard)
Makes trading up a bit easier later.
I would suggest a show or 2 to play a bunch of machines.
That way you can get a feel for what you like and don't like.
Do a bit of research. Some pins have ramps you just can't get replacements for.
I myself don't play in any.
I just want to play some titles and get a feel for a bunch of games.
I like to strike fast when a machine I like to play comes available.
I can hardly wait to put in a few games on safecracker and play a few of the UK imports (with the extra buttons amd plugs).
Also...
Can't say I have been to Allentown. I only isually need the odd part or two. I am not into the amount of travel to Allentown. I once went to a show in Rochester NY and I hated the drive and the toll roads.
At least the VFW is 30 mins over the border.
Its also just a day trip for me.
If there...
I just scored myself a pair of tix for saturday May 6.
350 machines available to play.
I my opinion, the best show in the area (for playing).
Not too much in the way of parts. They did have quite a few back glasses last year.
Its my local auction house.
I fondly remember a barn find Strange Science that was very rusty.
9/10 times machines go for far more than I would be willing to pay.
That being said I did score Checkpoint from them.
I don't have a problem sharing some pics if I am heading out to preview.
After playing score pool at the church I thought it may be a good fit for my room. I didn't have enough space to properly have room to play.
It seemed to be pool with way less room.
I will begin a serious search for a new pin, etc once spring is in the air.
The pool gamea seem neat. Hard to find...

The horse race

My tech buddy lives 5-10 from the auction house. I am sure some pickup and hold arrangement...
I just got my Shakelton auction flyer in the mail.
2 online pinball lots EM
As listed in the flyer
Chicago Coin High Score Pool (currently $150)
Williams Horse Race pinball (currently $95)
The horse race game looks kinda weird.
I was really hoping the high score pool was the non-pin mini pool...
