    Avengers-Pure Satisfaction

You would think, with the fact that Lyman's work turned ACDC into one of the best sellers of the last decade, that the bean counters at Stern would realize that he turned that game around sales-wise and they made a shit ton because of it. Better software=more money. I'd love to get an insiders...

no worries dude, I labelled it "good". :). Good luck with it, I think it's smart to target small niche crowds like pinball, you'll probably drum up some business.

    Avengers-Pure Satisfaction

I wrote Gomez, he wrote me back I think most of Adam's issues can be addressed with software, so hopefully they'll balance the game so even Adam likes it ;). After the xmen fiasco no one will assume anything will get done, so time will tell.

    Avengers-Pure Satisfaction

I'm a big fan. I hated mine at first because it was too hard. It was not levelled properly. Once I got it dialed in and I learned the shots and I got to see how deep the game was, it won me over. Adam came over to my place yesterday and was showing how the current code allows competition...

Whitewater and Space Shuttle now on Pinball Arcade!

Re: Cactus Canyon now on Pinball Arcade! There was a photo on pinside of Steve Ritchie trying 3D Pinball Arcade at the Texas Pinball show this past weekend. He was wearing glasses and playing STTNG. Personally I don't see the appear of 3d video pinball, not sure what it would add that would...

    Fast Food Burgers

Well, there's basically the "fast food" places, and then separate from them are the gourmet type burger places. In my neighbourhood I have a South St Burger, as well as Gourmet Burger Company, for the high end ones... South St I don't care for, not enough burger to bun ratio. Gourmet Burger...

I've played Shaun's and it is the polar opposite of a container pin, so if you want something in excellent shape he's your guy.

Thanks for the candour. I really appreciate the insight and the effort you put in to your biz. So, does Hamilton have limits on pins in bars as well? Will you be kept to 2 machines or something? From what you've told me, you may not even want to go past 2?

Thanks, Jason. I'm just a business guy, I like to analyze numbers. I also love pinball. I won't be opening any brick and mortar anything, but I like to try and figure out what works and what doesn't. So what I can take away from your post is that the missing component was the liquor license...

Jason, since you're here, I am curious about something... this has nothing to do with licensing or any of those issues, lets put that behind us (I'm sure you'll be happy to, lets consider it over).... Can a pinball "cafe" make money? did your business model ever work? Like, pretend you were...

But you never even applied for yours? not sure if that is definitive proof NO ONE would ever succeed. Anyhow, this is old news, so it's not my intention to dust this up. I do hope someone tries. Good luck with the new bar.

Re: • PRIZE DRAW • FEBRUARY 28th, 2013 Would it be possible to limit draws to those people who have been active the past month? Like, a single post qualifies you. Maybe 1 win max per year or something.
