You lost me. There are 3 coils on the garage mech. Two are 23-800 and one is a 22-1080. The 22-1080 is the one that does the lifting while the smaller 23-800's release the garage so that it can fall and the other spits the ball back onto the PF from the scoop.
What are the 5a and 3a coil you...
I take it you are using a colour laser printer? I'm thinking inkjet won't cut it.
When you remove the _txt the real image appears and it is colourised. You edit the colours afterwards?
Do you use two-sided tape when you wrap them around the coils? What have you had the best results with?
$8 is the standard for small parts. I was thinking of picking up a $9 magnetizer ( http://www.digikey.ca/scripts/DkSearch/dksus.dll?Detail&itemSeq=189031235&uq=635900018867169772) and shipping for the part is still only $8. I'm not sure why you would have been charged $20. Are you sure you...
Hey BM, I cannot believe the problems you are having with this pin. If I had the cash I'd buy it back from you. My son misses it quit a bit. I enjoyed it a lot too.
You should not have to double up a switch or switch to optics. The pin was designed to use only one switch and it works using...
What are you guys printing these on? I'm looking to do up some coil wraps, and some serial number labels and was wondering how everyone prints these out. Is there a preferred paper that is easily wiped down or are you just using Avery labels? What about the different coil wrap colours...
Digikey if you want to pay low shipping and pay in CDN dollars. They usually have everything. If you can't find it, then you aren't using the correct search terms. Their shipping is so quick sometimes I'm still be entering my credit card number and the doorbell will ring.
I figured someone on PREV might have had to do this before. It's not gaming related, well... I guess it could be. I need to recreate the control panel sticker for my dishwasher. The one on there has crapped out. It's not a standard sticker. It looks more like these...
So the only way to trouble shoot this is to switch out all the EPROMs? Aren't there 3 of them? What if I take a sound EPROM off another game and put it in? Have 2 from White Water installed and 1 from another WPC game. Do you think the MPU would be smart enough to realise it's the wrong...
I guess I could always pull each EPROM off one at a time and then start up Whirlpool Challenge and try to trigger the music myself. Well, it's a place to start! I'll report back in a bit...
So I'm in Test Mode. I figured I would try to understand the signal path the music is taking. In Test Mode I see T.7 Sound + Music but inside the menu there are only a handful of music and sounds in there. The one I'm looking for its not there along with a bunch of others. There doesn't...
I've narrowed down the sound bite that is randomly playing. Each and every time it is the Whirlpool Challenge music, but more specifically it's the LAST CHANCE music for the Whirlpool Challenge. It's the faster, higher tempo music.
For giggles, I'll try turning the flipper sounds OFF and see if I'm able to activate them 10 minutes later.
Good point on the MPU. What you're saying makes sense to me. I'll try disconnecting ribbon cabling from the MPU first.
There is a separate option to turn off flipper activated sounds. Right now I have attract sounds OFF and flipper button sounds ON.
I'll start with the ribbon cables. Might post this over on *gulp* Pinside as well to hear what they have to say. I'll post it as a generic WPC - Sound Issues so...
Hi guys, I've been having an issue with the music on my White Water. It happens randomly. I have not been able to reproduce it. There are two things happening, but I believe that both things are related to the same problem. Here is what is happening;
1) Pin is on. Attract sounds are OFF...
