Actually that's a good point, the fire is behind his right hand.. So technically it's coming out from the side of his face.
The proportions in general were better on the original.

Naw man, I had that game for a few months before selling it... I did a complete teardown shop job too. Best $300 pin I ever bought! A sample version too, it had the additional video/sound ROM's. Basically traded it for a ToM. ;)
