I've heard Blade Runner or 5th element or something similar (Sci-Fi from pre-2000). Can't recall exactly. It's all hush-hush and conjecture anyway. They actually took 4-5 years to develop and build Labyrinth and nobody knew about it. I think they're good at keeping secrets lol.

I already have the alternate BG. Topper and shooter are paid for and are shipping in Jan. Build quality is top notch. Haven’t needed support yet. They are providing code updates very regularly.

Interesting. I didn’t realize this could be even possible. Has Stern ever made a vault edition of anything with a “new” playfield? Cab art is easy. Maybe next year they could make a new LE and call it Anniversary edition since they only made 500 LEs. It’s the excuse they used for JP. :)

But they did change the game. They somehow fixed the unreliability issues with the TK Lock and replaced the projector with something newer, better, and obtainable. Not backward compatible. So unless you have a spare unobtainium projector, getting the newer version may be better…

I do that on Final Resistance, which means I pretty much restart my game all the damn time. Most brutal unforgiving game I've ever owned. TNA on steroids.

Interesting feedback. The overall majority of Pinside comments from expo are the complete opposite of what you just said(toys & sculpts aplenty on this game) when compared to similarly priced offerings from the other manufacturers. They do echo your impression that it was well designed.
