If it helps... LCD = Liquid Crystal Display... that is your smooth texture look... LED = Light Emitting Diode... which is your dots.

Agreed... I had a PIN2DMD in my MET and thought it was great... video's never do it any justice colour wise, they always look dim/washed out in video and are more impressive in real life.

Have you spent time on either of them? I'd recommend trying to do that, both have solid resale value at this point so if you bought the wrong one you shouldn't have to take too much of a bath on it. I've spent more than enough time on AFM and love it, but if i had to choose today I'd choose DP...
