For that price range there is a Led Zeppelin Pro on FB Marketplace. Finding recent Pro's under $9K could be a challenge. Probably limited to LZ and TMNT if that is your price range.
Since the seller thought removing his email address from his post would be helpful in some way let me put it back in for the google crawlers to pickup: [email protected]
Other suspicious posts by seller...
Buyer beware, a google search of that email address shows the same email address selling a number of items on marketplaces that are known spam bait... speaker stuff, guitar stuff, bike stuff. Happy to be wrong and will edit my post, but please be careful out there.
Edit: Image is from an eBay...
I can see what you're saying with games sitting at the $6K range on pinside for sure but I do think you've got add tax to the pinside price like HB said above, if there was a TMNT pro for $5,800 in Buffalo right now I could drive over and grab it without having to pay for shipping but I can't...
If you can get out the door with a new one for $10.5 you're suggesting you'd do well to get $7.5 for a used Pro? I don't recall seeing one that cheap, I thought Spike 2 Pro's regardless of title were selling for +/- $9K pretty much all day.
What a great line-up, only advice I could probably offer is to try your best to maintain the pins. Being an operator is hard work, never mind trying to run another business entirely in addition to operating 23 pins! I hope to make it out and spend some money in the future! All the best!
Wow, can't imagine going into Player1 or being at a tournament and not seeing Jerry there... wish I could make it, have previous plans, I wish him an amazing retirement!
If you go the EM route be prepared to roll up your sleeves and fix it, even it is working 100% when you buy it, simply moving it home and setting it up could introduce new problems.
Modern games with an old vibe would include the series of games Stern released with the same playfield, just...
Well envisioning common sense is your first mistake! This is the internet! :) I'd ask such a silly question cause I legit don't subscribe to the value a star rating would bring this site. Maybe it's my cynical nature. If I can't touch it myself, I'm not buying it regardless of how many stars...
The only "Black List" of people to not buy from that I know of is on mrpinball.com
https://user.xmission.com/~daina/blacklist.html
This is very different than a Star rating imo. Other than that it is the due diligence route if you're buying sight unseen, ask for references, ask a friend to go...
Based on what you've described I just see a world where it will devolve into a petty retaliatory system, you give a guy a low rating he gives one back and then arguments ensue and we are no further ahead. Now we are left with moderators having to clean up after it? I don't think they've signed...
If I were to invest $1,000USD into a topper it would be the Stern one so I could play the new content, otherwise I'd role my own topper and save the cash... or go without one altogether :)
I saw that Lost World yesterday and I think it is in really great shape... if you have a LW with a totally roached playfield this would be a cheap way to upgrade for sure!
