I had the same concern before I bought my first music pin. I don't anymore. They are among my most played machines. Plus on most of the them you can change the music if you want using Pinbrowser.

I lived just outside Houston for under a year. Best city I have ever visited/ lived in. IMO 1000% better than Toronto in every way, (unless you like winter).

I'm not sure they will kill the used market, but rather their own NIB market. Nobody will buy new machines, in fear that a newer, better version will be released in a year or two. And if nobody buys new machines, there will be no used market.
