Thanks for the reply pindude. I did swap out the cpu and stuck in a new altek cpu. The effect was there just more faint. I was chalking that up to new headers on the new altek making better connection? BUT the effect was still present. So might be a playfield issue as you suggest.

It almost sounds like your coil is heating up with use and expanding a little and causing the plunger to not run smoothly through the coil sleeve which would be odd on a newer machine. You could remove the coil and see if the coil sleeve is still moving in and out of the coil nice and easily...

Maybe check the screws on the mech and that they have not come loose and changed the proper alignment.

There is a World Poker Tour for about that price posted here I believe. Looks very nice. But depends on your preference in theme.
