looking for a toy crane or candy claw arcade machine. Must fit though a 29.5" wide doorway. Not looking for anything fancy and projects are OK. Let me know what you have. Located in Niagara, not looking to drive much more than an hour. Let me know!
Just as an update I tested all voltage at the power supply. -5VDC was reading -13.5V.
Subsequently ordered a new power supply. I'm thinking now that the loos ground connection caused the power supply to fail. Hopefully this fixes things.
So one day the kids tell me the the Tetris machine won't work. Here are the Symptoms:
-Marquee goes on.
-I tested the power supply and confirmed +5V. (was actually 4.98 and I adjusted to 5.00)
-The monitor is on as I can see the orange glow. However, there is no picture displayed.
-The...
So I'm playing RFM last night thinking the Clinton jokes are a bit out of date....but
Trump quotes would probably "Make this game great again!"
Just curious how feasible it would be to tweak the programming for sound clips only. I know others have been building PB2000 games from the ground...
Here is what I was reading from pinwiki:
6.24.5.4 Distorted or slightly "off" sounds
C38 is not stuffed on some pre-DCS sound boards.
The pre-DCS sound board uses 47µF capacitors as filters in the sound circuit; C15, C36, and C38. If one or more of these caps fail, certain sounds may not be...
Fixed!!!!! just in time for the New Years party.
Incase someone is reading this with he same issue, I believe the problem was a failed LM1875 Amp. This is a real pain to swap, as I had to pull the big cap in order to gain access. I also replaced C46 and C47 tantalum caps while I was there...
Was fortunate enough to find all the components at Nutech in St. Catharines.
New LM1875 amp.
New C20 10 micro ferrand, 20V tantalum cap
New C46 and C47 caps (1 micro ferrand 35V tantalum)
New C23 0.22 microferrand, 10 V ceramic.
I think that is everything. Decided to take the shotgun...
OK, I am hoping you guys can help me nail down exactly which component failed.
Here's the story:
I was swapping out some LED GI lights, lots of turning the machine off and on to see what looks good. As Murphy's law would have it, I am all finished and power things up to play a game and get a...
Hey man, sorry for the late reply. I appreciate the offer and I think the SST would be a fair deal, but the game is just not not for me. SST is a fun as hell game to play, but I really don't like the art or theme.
Kind'a the same deal for BBH. I'm not much of a hunter, and have only...
Thought I would do a quick bump for this one.
RFM is home now and playing great. Same trade list still applies.
Short of a trade for one of the above machines, I would love a SWE1 conversion kit. My son is asking for one for christmas again this year, would love to keep the RFM and find a...
Finished my TAF restoration and now I have the old parts to get rid of.
I'm looking for $300 OBO for everything as a package deal, but I am also willing to separate so make me an offer.
Ramps is in decent shape, only one small crack.
Insert decals sheet is missing cousin it and Mamushka.
Here...
Let there be light! Update for the weekend. One out of 3 spinal cords installed. This one has all the lights. I hooked it to game just to check my work and see how it looked. The LED GI's may go, I'm not sure I like those, but the inserts look pretty punk rock.
Worked my ass of this weekend and I am finally starting to rewire the underside of the playfield. Lamp wires are now all on and LED's, with the exception of the pop bumper areas which will get soldered this week. All the zip ties are being replaced and I have the wiring harness squeeky clean...
My old Shadow!!! I still love this machine. If anyone one is curious I put a lot of love into this machine. All flipper mechs were re-done 2 years ago. I also re-sleeved and re-build all the mechs on this one. Installed an orange LED mod above the mini playfield. Plastic ramp behind the...
