Here's a crappy pic of my new Class of 1812. All the way from Los Angeles, happy to bring one back into Canada! Sorry you have to lay on your side to view it.
Ya, I guess depending on where it's going. Their thought process is that they just have to 'walk' it onto the truck and 'walk' it off. Would make sense if it was going into place immediately. But again, only ground floor so chances are they've gotta come off.
Ok, so from LA to Lewiston took 3 weeks. They picked up the unit on the 12th I believe and it meandered its way here slowly, finally arriving in New Jersey on Thursday of last week. It sat for the weekend and then I received a call on Monday to schedule a Tuesday delivery. My delivery window...
Ok, getting close now. It is arriving between 10am and 2pm tomorrow. COD as per the agent on this end. Now I just have sit in Lewiston and wait.....
I will post up more after the deed is done!
Ya, so far communication is not their strongest point, but assuming you did this on the regular, it w0uldn't be an issue. I've asked a few times how they want to be paid with no response....maybe it's free !!!
Ya, I thought so too. I talked to them today and was told they don't know when it will arrive, but ETA is currently the 27th...? I guess they will be waiting to bundle it with other things heading this way.
Yes, that's what I'm expecting! On a serious note, all I expect is that it arrives in exactly the same condition that it left in.....but when I open the coin door, if I get a whif of 'grey poupon', I'll know they really showed it some love! So much for the serious note.....
Yes, I thought so too. Were talking about 2200 miles white glove service. Now, we will see how the scheduling works, hope I don't have to wait for them to pick up a bunch more stops before they pick up my machine.....
