That looks really promising! Moreso than Pokemon for sure, but then again, I'm right in the target demographic for G1 Transformers. See how it shoots.

Sculpts/Mechs look so cheap IMO.
However, like most Stern titles, I’m sure the game plays fast & fun.

It’s pinball…they are all supposed to be fun. Cool shots? Sure. Toys…look cheap (all of us 80’s kids who had transformer toys should be disappointed in these toys quality - I remember when they stopped making metal toys - sad). As I’ve heard before, Stern reuses their same colour pallet far too often. Imagine Optimus “transforming” after you bash him?!?!
I don’t hate it, I am just out on this title - as I am on most Stern’s ;)
I hope it does well for them though, just lower the prices!!!

To be fair the 80s Transformer cartoon toys look cheap also.. That's the intended vibe.

I like the layout. What I don’t like is the stripped down version of the pro. No megatron cannon and no sound wave lock mechanism. The bang for your buck is premium and I’m priced out. Which sucks.
Pro missing the major mech and looks stripped with the dreaded flat plastics also. Still looks fun though.

I was in high school when this was a thing so no nostalgia for me. Wallet is safe but I would love to play.

I thought the Megatron/Soundwave sculpts looked OK in pictures, but Optimus just looks wrong. It's the position on the arms that does it. I'm sure there'll be a better aftermarket version at some point.

Looking at the side by side compare on pinball news, it seems like it could be another decent pro. The biggest change in flow is likely the Megatron shot not having the extra little ramp on the left, but it remains to be seen how essential it is to the gameplay. The soundwave locks aren't likely to change the flow much, and might actually give you less chaotic feeds.

Gameplay video from the design team. It looks pretty good so far? No indication on the stream as to what the combiners do, but it seems like a pretty straightforward mode/MB game otherwise. Very cool that they got something in there for the red-film info cards that came with the toys too.
