Help Removing a Stern Apron Screw

It seems like Stern overtightened one of the Apron screws on my Iron Maiden Premium and for the life of me, I can not loosen or get it out to install an Insider Connected kit.
Anybody have any ideas on how to remove it?
The screw head is almost destroyed from trying to remove the screw.

Get a set of screw extractor bits.

I didn't even know something like that existed.
I will grab a set tomorrow.
I ended up removing the apron from the side, but couldn't get the screw out, even trying drilling it as per the suggestion above.
I will try again with the extractor bits.
