IM pro led strip for a topper

When I got my used IM pro it had a plastic topper with an led strip behind it. But its plugged into the 110v service plug in the back box. So its on all the time there is no switch and really I'd like it to just turn on with the pin. Any suggestions on the led strip to buy and where could I get power from in the back box?

You can get 12v switched with the machine off CN6 on the power distribution board beside the power supply. If you already have a mod plugged in there, you'll need a splitter. From there, any 12v LED strip with controller will work from amazon.

Thanks. I'm not sure if have a mod plugged in there. I'll look into that.

Get a LED strip from Eddie at pinballleds.ca he supplies alligator clips, I clipped on to the coin door lights. They turn on and off with the pin.

I don't want to run it to the front door. But yes he's the man.
