improved rotating saucer mod.....

I had made a RFM rotating saucer mod a few years ago but I always wanted to improve it by adding LED's around the green dome, now I found a way to do it.
Here are 2 video's, one before and the last video is the improved mod, lots of of meticulous hard work but I think it was worth it:

I'm happy to help, it took me so much research, hours and hours, that I'm happy if I can help someone with the results of my research.
Those are made in many different sizes and models, mine is one with a hole in the middle but some do not have holes, only the wires come out at the other end, others have a plate in the middle to hold the ringslip on a surface.

.....just finshed making the other rotating saucer. completed video. If anyone wants to have these on their RFM, I can assist and guide into making these, but I reallly don't want to make them myself, it's too time-consuming and meticulous work to do many.....

I'm asking because the ringslip is in the dome, if you don't have a dome in which you could fit in the ringslip from underneath your rotating saucer mod will show out the motor too much.

Well it depends how you want to do the mod.......
Mine has a hole in the middle for the motor pinion to go through and get to the saucer to make it turn.

I thought that may be the case when I started seeing slip rings with a 5mm hole in the middle.
