So I see the mod to add a sword ramp from the left VUK.
I'm thinking of making my own.
Already mocked it up. 3d printed the ramp and VUK hood.
Has anyone else added there own left ramp?
Definetly should have been there from production when you think about how the ball only returns right.

If you have one installed do you like it and are happy you installed it?

I almost ordered one, but after a friend bought and installed it, there were several issues with balls getting stuck. I am not sure if they have since added deflectors to the kit to prevent this, but I decided to keep mine stock. It is also a major gameplay change, different from what the original designer intended. In Steve we trust! :)

sucks if it wasn't working right. hmm when I see it in action and when I'm playing it really looks light adding the vuk to the 1 return there seems like a cheap way of avoiding adding a ramp.
The original creator is from Europe and the mod was discontinued but Kurt at KJS pinball in Australia took over and he has been producing the recent batches.

Yup I saw it and contacted him. $450 is probably reasonable. But I'm going to create my own. a. I like the hobby. b. retired and need to keep busy. c. i'm cheap. lol I have my first mock up already.

Just 3d printing the mock up first. getting all the measurements together. Not sure what I'm going to do with the return lane look. Maybe something similar to the sword on the sidebox or just a simple return lane. I've got the first print done. I'll need to figure out holes and stand offs. The vuk is the difficult part, getting it right and some type of capture where the ball will drop on the return lane. I think the first time I saw a return lane like this was on deadpool?? much easier and quicker that an actual return wire ramp.
