1987 Williams Space Station pinball no longer for sale

Game is in overall great condition and plays well. Awesome light show with the "condition green" multi-ball effect and second to none music and sound effects. Super cool for 1987 and now.

Playfield is in very good condition. Original Mylar in place with no damage to insert edges or significant wear spots. Cabinet is in good condition, solid, has had some paint touch-ups previously. Boards are in good shape with no damage from leaking batteries (game has NVRAM installed instead of AA batteries).

Displays are replacement blue coloured ones from Rottendog and look fantastic. Translite was replaced with a new old stock (NOS) one by previous owner.

All mechanisms work as intended included the rotating Space Station feature. Slingshots work well and you'll come to be very familiar with exactly how as the game was designed with no inlanes. Wonderful game for practicing ball control on.

I put in LEDs everywhere. Backbox, playfield GI and inserts. All frosted dome 2SMD's and mostly just cool white although some were colour matched (in addition to the condition green ones). I have the correct 1251 flasher bulbs in the backboard domes as those are somewhat unique in that they get more voltage than regular flashers. The rest of the flashers I kept as incandescents.

New shooter rod with translucent blue knob that looks perfect for this game. The game has the correct strength shooter rod spring so launching the ball and having it come up short is never an issue.

Game is on free play while in my home, but the coin mechanisms all work if you intend to use them. Coin door lock comes with two keys and backbox lock has just a single key (on the side of these system 11 games). New "wing nut" backbox bolts that are the longer ones as is needed for this cabinet style. New blue plastic star posts were put in when I had the playfield torn down for cleaning and rubber ring replacement. Flipper buttons were changed out to new transparent red ones, which are correct for this title.

Upper playfield is in good shape. Ramp on right is also in good shape, however was previously repaired as there were some cracks at the entrance. Ramp works correctly and does not need replacement, however translucent blue ramps are now available if you wanted to replace it.

I have a self-printed copy of the manual which will be included. Plastics on the game are in overall good shape (no cracks or chunks missing).

New parts installed by me:

Leg levellers

Leg bolts

Leg protectors (blue)

Translucent blue knob shooter rod

Shooter rod spring

Black plastic coin box

Backbox 3" wing nut bolts

Complete flipper assemblies, both sides, from Pinball Wizard (Utah)

Flipper bats, white, with Williams logo (both sides)

Transparent red flipper buttons (both sides)

Pinballs (x3)

Rubber rings, post sleeves, shooter tip and flipper rubber

Blue plastic star posts

LEDs, 2SMD frosted dome, mostly cool white, some colour matched (backbox, playfield inserts and playfield GI... condition green GI string all green)

Rear playfield glass plastic trim piece

1251 flasher bulbs in backboard under yellow domes (higher voltage design)

Coin chute orange plastics (3 pieces for each slot plus spring and label)

New parts installed by previous owner:

Rottendog display (blue)

NOS translite

NVRAM on board instead of AA batteries

The game really needs to be seen and played to be properly appreciated. And in a room with the lights dimmed so you can get the full effect of the condition green GI light string coming on. It really is cool to see.

The game is in Guelph and is on the main floor for easy access. Just straight out the front door and down the three steps on the porch to the driveway. I can help you pack it up and load it into your vehicle. Sorry, no delivery and no shipping. Cash on the glass. Asking price is $4,750 CAD. Thank you for looking.
