Is there a source for blacklight activated arcade style carpet in Canada?

That looks good. I probably overthought it when it came to the lights. 395-405nm seems basically just as good for a game room since there is ambient light coming off of the games. I think 365nm is more for parties and haunted houses and stuff where having as little visible light as possible is...

Is there a source for blacklight activated arcade style carpet in Canada?

I ended up going down a whole rabbit hole trying to figure out the best source for carpet and what blacklights to get. If you just want an area rug in a smaller dimension, wayfair.ca is by far the cheapest option. Sizes are limited though so I went right to Joy Carpet to get a quote. I...

FS Golden Tee Live 2026 + Arcade Collection $4500

Price drop to $4500. I'm moving and would prefer this gone before I move.

Is there a source for blacklight activated arcade style carpet in Canada?

I'd like to carpet my gameroom with some 90's style arcade carpet that preferably illuminates under blacklight. I've found a few good places like Joy Carpets but they are located in the US. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a source in Canada that has good quality rugs/carpets of this style? Thanks

Costco Canada Stern Star Wars home edition

This is a pretty good representation of the issue here. The kind of person who is going to buy this unit is the kind of person who is averse to even opening it up, let alone doing maintenance. They are likely a person with a decent amount of discretionary income and they want a toy to impress...

Costco Canada Stern Star Wars home edition

What about it feels cheap? I assumed it would be the same parts that go into a normal pin, just less mechs and smaller since they already have an inventory of parts for every other game. If it feels cheap did they cheap out on the parts too? No clue how they justify $7k if that's the case.

    Antisocial Pinball Lounge

Understood. The adjustments I were referring to are ones that made the games unplayable but were all things I thought looked solvable without parts. Here are the specific things I can remember. Zeppelin - the piece that comes up from the center of the playfield is not sitting flush with the...

    Antisocial Pinball Lounge

Is there any official channel to report maintenance items that need addressing? I did mention one thing to the person working the desk but he seemed more like a front desk guy and not super familiar with the machines so I didn't think he took down any specifics. I know getting parts right now...

Costco Canada Stern Star Wars home edition

I don't think these are ripoffs or anything but I really don't get who the target audience is. Casuals will think it's way too expensive and those of us in the community would rather spend a few bucks more for a real machine.

    Antisocial Pinball Lounge

Maybe it's because I come from the rhythm game community. Modern rhythm games all come with headphone jacks because of how important hearing the sound is. Of course it's less important for a pinball game but I find it pretty important on modern pins for understanding what your goals are. And of...

    Antisocial Pinball Lounge

I finally got out to Antisocial, I don't know why I waited so long but boy was that a mistake. What a collection. What really sets this place apart is the number of premium/LE machines and the condition. Other than a few sticky flipper buttons the machines are pretty well cared for, especially...

    FS Metallica Premium - $13,750

Yeah I was thinking this might happen. Renewed interest in Metallica and then the new machine sells out so people go looking for the old one. I'm kind of leaning towards holding onto it now, I feel more comfortable with hard assets than cash in the bank at the moment for various reasons.

    FS Metallica Premium - $13,750

It's very possible. We'll see how the reveal goes today. If it's a 2k drop, I just consider that a rental fee for enjoying this amazing game. :)

    FS Metallica Premium - $13,750

I'll bump this in anticipation of the announcement on wednesday of the new game. I imagine it's going to be a hot item but if anyone wants the tried and true original version the prices will probably be good now. I am obviously open for negotiation so send me your offers!

FS/FT Metallica Pro- Nicely Modded and Beautiful Condition- $9800 CAD OBO

Toronto has some decent pinball spots but the arcade scene in general in Canada is fucked. There are more private collections than public arcades, especially if you're into something niche like rhythm games.

    Pinball appraisal question

Usually replacement cost is used for this kind of insurance appraisal. Start collecting screenshots of pinside ads and other ads so you can show what the market rate is. Condition and any other factor that affects price matters too.

Good price, I sold a much worse condition one for the same not all that long ago.
