Looking to switch up the lineup a bit. Selling my Stern Rollercoaster Tycoon. This is a great flowy Pat Lawlor game. The ramps and combos are great. The rocket ramp is a great pinball moment! The game is all LED, Nvram so no batteries and has a true ColorDMD. The armor has been powder coated yellow which fits very well with the game theme. It also comes with the rollercoaster tycoon themed dust protector for the glass.
Mechanically and electronically plays perfectly with the exception of during the wizard mode, which is a timed mode where all balls are in play, the game tries to eject a ball from the trough even if there isn't a ball in the trough. Likely an issue with the last trough opto. The problem only manifests itself during wizard mode as it's the only mode when all balls are in play. When I first got the game it would also reboot once in a while but it was a connector on the CPU board that was loose. I reseated everything and it's been solid since.
Cosmetically, the cabinet has bumps and bruises but is still in good shape for its age. The playfield has some wear at the scoop and where the ball drops in the inlanes. There is a cliffy in the shooter lane. The previous owner had stadium lights and installed magnetic strips at the top of the art blades. Those aren't coming off. The art blades are also coming up at the back left. See pictures. The previous owner also installed a button on the lock down bar that is Carnival ride theme but the button does not do anything. It's just for show.
Asking 6250$ for it. Not shipping at this time. Delivery to your door within a few hours of Ottawa can be worked into the deal for an extra.
