Williams WPC - random mid-game blackout

This one was a Dave Astill NVRAM. I assume top of the line, never had an issue with any of his stuff. I had another person do the socket soldering (because it was so small) and they created problems on more than of these CPU boards. I had to do extensive work to repair, clean, meter and install...

Williams WPC - random mid-game blackout

Recently did an NVRAM install on a Williams Getaway Machine. It was playing playing great, still plays great, but recently one little nagging issue has popped up. The game will randomly completely lock-up mid game. No reset, DMD goes black, sound stops, lights stop, everything stops, but game...

Gottlieb EM - AX relay adjustment

I'll check it out. Thanks. Watched a number of you tube videos on the weekend. I think I can get this adjusted. Glenn

Gottlieb EM - AX relay adjustment

Below is a picture. My understanding is the latch mechanism releases when the lower electromagnet is energized. When that latch releases, the return spring (in picture) should pull the plastic plate into the lock position (I think). It does not do that freely now. Should the upper electromagnet...

Gottlieb EM - AX relay adjustment

Looking for tips on adjusting an AX relay on a Gottlieb Royal Flush. I'm new to repairing EM's but really enjoying the process. With the game off - I believe when I manually release the lower latch, the plastic switch actuator should to return to position. Having trouble getting it to spring...

    WTB Addams Family parts

I have some stickers shown below. I also have a full set of cabinet decals, new sandblasted side rails, and olds spare legs and old lock down bar. When I was restoring my TAF, the idea was to go black powder coat on all the chrome. I know a local powder coat shop and could get everything coated...

    FS/FT Foo Fighters Premium

Foo Fighters is the best game I have ever owned. Tons of staying power, tough to beat. New owner should install expression lights, they look great in this game! I bought mine new in box. I paid $14,452 (incl. tax). Someone is going to get a good deal on this.

    Power transformer question

Transformers are easy to swap if the rust bothers you. I would check the voltages being put out by the transformer, if the voltages are fine I would not worry too much about it. This is common if a machine was stored in a non-climate controlled location (unheated garage, backyard shed, etc)...

Jurassic Park - TRex not aligned

Game is new enough, best bet is call Stern. They are typically very helpful over the phone. I don't own the game or know the mechanism well enough to comment, but check out page 59 of the manual online. May be a loose set screw, could be more involved...
