This game is the bulk of Spike 3, the internals and screen.Their will not be a price increase on this title as it isn’t fully Spike 3. New cabinet will be released with the next game and that’s the time to expect a greedy price increase.
It is more than likely less expensive for Stern to transition to Spike 3.This game is the bulk of Spike 3, the internals and screen.
As for you assertion that it's all about "greed", unless you have lived under a rock for the last few years everything has gone up, and in most cases substantially so. Stern has held prices for a few years now, thinking their costs have not gone up in that time is not realistic.
I manufacture plastics. Most of my customer base is in the US. Prices have fallen about 20% over the last 12 months including raw materials. Things I was charging 2200 USD for 2-3 years ago are now 1600 USD. My competitors are also dropping prices. Plastics in general aren’t going up outside of US tariffs causing an increase in some raw materials landing in the US from South east AsiaThis game is the bulk of Spike 3, the internals and screen.

A price increase will just equal a greater loss for the consumer if they decide to move a game.
I think wood and labor are the bigger imputs for Stern. Both up sharply in the US.I manufacture plastics. Most of my customer base is in the US. Have you ever visited the Stern factory???If new game purchases are down (Jaws is a great example) and desire is strong price on a used spike 3 SW will hold just fine.

Yes. Going again in October.Have you ever visited the Stern factory???
I can guarantee you 100% that labour costs didn't go that high, unless the designers are asking for a massive raise.
the way the market has been the last little while, I don't feel the need to buy anything sight unseen. hope its a hit !Order placed with P1AG!! No price increase.
Can't wait
Just wait for the full Spike 3 50th anniversary edition in 2027the way the market has been the last little while, I don't feel the need to buy anything sight unseen. hope its a hit !
That’s fair. Labour isn’t cheap but they also added 100,000 SF to their location (via a move). That probably wasn’t a good idea in hindsight either. 100,000 extra square feet is a hell of a lotIf new game purchases are down (Jaws is a great example) and desire is strong price on a used spike 3 SW will hold just fine.
