Yikes! Given your assessment who knows what the PCB's in the head look like, or the mech's under the PF. At 2K that's still way too much for JP in that condition... sad thing is the seller will likely get it in this market. :FP:

Thanks for the heads up Reg! Good thing Innisfil not far from your work and potentially saved a lot of people from wasting their time going up to see it to only be disappointed.

Not that I speak from experience, only going on "hearsay".....but the Alberta crew on Pinside advise to stay away from this guys pins.

Thought I'd chime in on my first post here. About those pins from Alberta mentioned in the post above; I've been trying to communicate with someone from there to get more "details" about certain pins. When you ask for a list + price, they will send it to you asap. When you want more details (conditions, playfield, cabinet, electronics), it takes roughly around 7 days for them to get back to you by email. If you call, no on picks up. It's been already a month and a half and I'm still trying to get more information on two pins. The only pictures they have of their pins is already up. Don't bother asking for more pictures as they will turn you down. All I would say is buyer beware.

That's TPS in Red Deer AB. The guy's name is Bob. He is a really nice guy and moves a lot of pins, but he is slow as molasses to respond to things. His machines are also usually pretty rough for the price and his idea of a shop job is the dirty cloth wipe down variety. He isn't dishonest by any means, but it is definitely a buyer beware situation.

I did a quick compare of price Judge Dredd of his price and ToPEC and his was $500 higher. While I am not looking for a newer machine I thought since I had the list I may as well post it. Good to have some feedback on the seller if he does end up replying to my inquiry.
I figured since I have opened up my search to US machines that the shipping from Alberta could be pretty close to the same as there wouldn't be brokerage, customs hold ups, etc.
I'll worry about sales tax differences when I know he has the machine I seek.
