Word has it fatalists are moving on and looking to the zombie apocalypse as the answer. Unfortunately there isn't a date on the street yet, but more to follow. It may be too soon to sell off that abandoned missile silo.

Just to be clear, leap years were created by Caesar in 45 A.D., and were never accounted for by the Mayans in their calendar; there have been 514 leap years since then. If there were no leap years, yesterday would technically have been July 28, 2013. Therefore, the end of the Mayan calendar was actually 7 months ago.

What's the History channel going to do now that the world didn't end? At least 50% of there programming is 2012 related.

Isn't that the way with all the History/Discovery channel programming these days. I still see shows about the planning for the Spirit and Opportunity Mars landings . . . :roll:
