I had inquired some time ago why when machines were sold that the threads were closed. the answer was valid for housekeeping purposes and to keep actual games for sale near the top of the list.

Sometimes games are sold and are projects that may or may not come back to life. i did look at this when it came up for sale as im a big fan of 60s williams and love this style of cabinet used in only a few machines but is rather unique in that it opens up for backglass much like early bally ss and the odd dropdown front in mid sixties games i think done to incorporate their rather bulky but innovative at the time coin acceptor that took nickels , dimes and quarters. the bottom row of lights on the head gives it an almost jukebox look too. i know these things are probably of personal taste that attracts me to them.

i had thought the game was in london so i decided against going that far for it but as it happened it was in kitchener , and bruce of collingwood who heads that way often picked this up for 175( thats what you get for not reading pinball revolutions games for sale threads). Bruce did the majority of clean up on the machine. Machine cleaned up very nicely .. back cabinet repaired, coin door and apron redone , pf didnt need much ..pop bumpers redone .

i decided to buy this off of bruce on the condition that i ordered a ron webb backglass for it. theres a certain pride of ownership i find owning a ron webb backglass as they are the best out there done with inks and this being a specialty glass with the mirror on it (that lights different sections when numbers hit) there was no doubt in getting one.

Nova guy got under the hood for a few last tweaks if i remember correctly it was missing a bell and i had a spare and inserted the backglass

So theres still a few things to do . ill have to wait till spring to do the cab paint proper but a relatively easy one to do . a middle right plastic needed and my next order to pinballrescue.net to get the coin door decals

Knowing this pales to some of the restores that some do here , but thought at least sharing another "Junker" coming back to life.
