Close to 20k out the door for the "lower tier" model. I don't know what JJP is thinking, they let the success of GnR get to their heads, but they don't understand that at 9.5k USD is the sweet spot for those JJP LEs and that's why they sold.
100% agree. They could sell a ton of these if prices right

Agreed, this may have been a home run for JJP if they had just priced it more reasonably.
The tunes sound great; but the casino slot machine sounds remain and these do take awake a bit from Elton’s timeless classics. JJP needs to find a better sound engineer.
Looking forward to giving this a spin; but can’t see myself being a buyer for this at current MRSP.

My theory is JJP is testing the waters one more time. I noticed this time around they made a CE and "Platinum Edition", the platinum has a topper, inner art blades, and rad cals. I think if sales are low enough, they will come out with the traditional JJP "LE" edition without rad cals, topper and inner art, and no powder coating and charge $9,500-$10,000. It would be a smart shift for them if they went this route and sales should pick up.

JJP is going to sadly fail this final test. The upgrades are relatively meaningless on a pin priced at USD $12.5k. It’s a shame as at $9,500 USD, it had a possibly legitimate shot at better sell through.
The JJP ultra-fan boys (on Pinside) are going to be hard pressed to justify this pricing model. Just because a pin is loaded with cheesy, over the top leds combined with an extra 50 lbs of dead-weight, isn’t going to qualify the squeeze. It’s not just JJP, all new pins are overpriced.

Played EJ at Expo.

Game is stunning and shoots really well. Design is very similar design to past Ritchie games like Star Trek so although it's pretty loaded it's not really a very original playfield. New flippers are strong!

$12,000-$15,000 is definitely on the high side especially when converted to CAD. Platinum would sell so much better at $10,000 IMO.

kool1, that’s an awesome pic. Richie’s designs are a mostly a blast.
I agree, it looks like the pin could be a ton of fun.
It’s simply too bad that JJP have priced so many out of the market.
I wouldn’t be surprised if these are selling for a few thousand less in a few months south of the boarder.
Hopefully, P1 get one for their showroom to give it a spin.

Dear JJP,

Please lower the price so I can buy one.

Best Regards,
dos.reboot

P.S. Sorry about being so pushy and demanding. Sorry.
We all need to group up and resist the new higher prices, if no one is purchasing the pins than JJP needs to adjust their pricing. Glad they came out with Toy Story 4, Godfather and Elton, as their latest 3, as they aren't very strong theme, so no one is really tempted to overpay. Hopefully we see JJP return back to reality.

Pretty slick video...and nice looking machine, but after getting sucked into GnR only to feel mehhh...when in the house, I would wait until I play it. ...and then there is the cost...and then there is the weight of the machine. Does anyone know how Toy Story and the Godfather sales were?
