In my old Jeep for example, EM and early SS were no issue. Hinged SS games would fit if I removed some plastics around the hatch. Anything past the 1990 wasn't going anywhere without removing the entire head (which I never did).
Enterprise will rent you a van with 200km included for about $100. I taken these to Ottawa and back for about $200 plus gas

If you find someone to do the run. There is a guy in Pickering that sells glass for around $70. I'd like 2 picked up. I'm in Kingston as well.
