So, I always have been a serial modder, but I guess its been next level with all this Covid time on my hands. So, after picking up a JP prem...here are some mods/upgrades Ive done.

The first is replacing the Spike fan with pinmonk's fan, a hassle, but cheap and does a great job. As well, I installed headphone jack and I really recommend it - with headphones on you hear every thing very clearly and it reduces the physical sound of the pinball in the machine.

Here is a pic with side art installed and Mezel mods raptor cage mod. As well, in the background are shtubs and trees to lend to the jungle feel.

You can get the trees on amazon and are very inexpensive. I put a bunch of trees behind the raptor tower and it is a cool effect when the t-rex's head moves into them. ...and as well, I found a small (to scale-ish) dilophosaurus you can see in the first pic...

Maybe a little hard to tell, but I hid a couple of small LEDs under the raptor tower pointing down to the playfield to help brighten up the top half of the play field.

I bought the machine with the replacement signs which is a really nice upgrade and I bought a toy Pteranodon on amazon and mounted it on its ramp - simple, cheap and nice effect.

What took the most work is modding the matchbox helicopter, that I saw was done on Pinside. Once again nice effect since the 2d chopper plastic looked cheap. As well, I put a light in it and tied it to the helipad light.

The last two mods are the best:
1) Fan Edit Code - you can get it from a contact on pinside, they took tons of audio and viseo clips from the first movie and did a stellar job integrating them using pinball browser - highly recommended!
2) PDI glass (thanks Reg).

and was lucky to find a machine with the topper and amber mosquito shooter. I totally recommend JP if you don't mind a pin with a few really tight shots. Elwin's code is amazing...

Great job with the mods! I have been going a little crazy with mod recently as well. Here are some completed and upcoming projects:

- Metallica - powdercoating Candy Purple
- Elvis - LED panel to light up Elvis letters, new side armour
- Shadow - mini LED screen, new topper
- old GnR - original remake topper
- new GnR - custom Slash figure, mirror side blades
- AC/DC - new topper, LED panel (to remove awful florescent tube), pinstadium.

Some pictures below. Likely forgetting a bunch. Likely doing a bunch more powdercoating as well.

Nice job @ritewhereiwant2b on the JP mods!

I did some of the same as you on my JP Premium...
  • Added trees throughout
  • Pingrafix pinblades (photo was before I put them on)
  • Mezel Raptor Pen and Raptor Tower and sign covers (added clear stoppers in the open holes to make the lights shine through)
  • Pteranodon figure connected to ramp post
  • Stern Headphone Jack/External Volume Control
  • Shaker Motor (a must on this game)
  • Stern Amber Shooter Rod
  • Alternate movie code (which is amazing)
But I did a few other things (this is maybe the most modded machine I own):
  • Pinwoofer full speaker/amp upgrade
  • Speaker Light Kit with JP Inserts
  • Stern Topper
  • PinStadium Neos (I found the game a bit too dark...and I'm a sucker for lighting)
  • Mezel Barbasol flasher cover
  • T-Rex fence upgrade (which was a pain to install) with signs
  • Clear Plastic protectors
  • Full set of Cliffy's (about to install. Just got them)
  • Upgraded T-Rex from Lior (on order...)
I'm also a big sucker for modding machines that I know I'll keep in the collection for a while...
Here are also a few photos of the Lior mods for the JJP GnR.
Not cheap but the guy does some seriously nice work...

Hey, Pinballjah...noice! Youve been busy!! Where did you find Slash?

Hey Steve Pons, your JP is almost exactly modded like mine...I forgot to mention the shaker. Putting Pinmonk's quite fan is worth the hassle and fairly cheap. I still have to see and hear PinStadium and Pinwoofer. I may have to upgrade. Im still thinking about ordering Lior's mods...

Im doing the long wait for my GnR LE and am working on my next mod doing a custom topper. Ive made a few, Ive posted them here in the past. The idea for this one isnt for everyone, but unique for sure...and since GnR is billed as a concert experience...Im going low-tech for this topper:

20210331_211114.jpg

So this is going to be mounted on a 1/2 thick piece of acrylic and Im going to mount a couple of spotlights into it and voila: the ticket to the pinball concert experience...and it is the the Not in this Lifetime show in Toronto. I have a drawer with a ton of old concert tickets...so this really fits my experience as well.

...and now that I see your Slash mod Pinballjah, I think Id like him standing beside the ticket...
