Sooo.... what exactly is a "Pinball Zombie".
I think I may have run into a few of those back in the day; whilst hanging out at places like Funland and Dufferin Lanes during the small hours of the night.
Definitely spooooky :D

Well, I think I'm decided...
I will likely never own a pinball machine that Ben Hecks has had any hand in designing/building.
This guy seems to just churn out cheesy product after cheesy product.
This one looks marginally better than AMH, but not by much.

Maybe I'm being too harsh and will have to try it out first... but I'm not running to send in any deposits.
I would have loved to be able to read Steve Ritchie's mind as he walked up to and played this.

a good pinball designer a good engineer does not make.

Exactly!
As a designer myself, I work with production minded people all day. And, while their solutions are often functional, they usually lack a certain elegance or thought for the end user.

There's a reason that pinball companies have/had separate design and engineering departments.
People who can move seamlessly between the two disciplines are few and far between.

C'mon guys, this is just a prototype! They'll get things straightened out by the time production..............................

Ah, who am I kidding. I'm going to pile on just like everyone else. I want this company to knock my socks off with a design so I can eat all my negative criticism, but that hasn't happened yet. That art is dreadful (again). Skit B's Predator, while still looking like a homebrew machine, is head and shoulders above anything I've seen from Spooky thus far. Designing/engineering aside, I think the Spooky folks better stick with podcasts...oh wait, they stink at that, too.

I admire the effort that went into this. But I don't get the package. It's like someone took the playfield from one zombie pin and shoved it into a cabinet belonging to a different zombie pin. The styles between the two aren't consistent. It's confusing - at least for me.

I haven't been keeping up on the development of this one. Is this the finished product?

Stern is the only company able to fund and develop in secret, everyone else shows works in progress to generate pre-orders. This game is very early.
