I saw this in one of Clay's post and thought it would be useful. Fun little 5 minute mod. This is a PS from a 6803 system but the mod would work on any power supply
You could add more for +12, +43, +91...etc. If you want to show higher voltages be sure when buying as some only measure up to +30 while others go up to +100. Here is the link I bought from.
LED Volt Meter
Installation:
-Locate the ground and desired voltage location on the back of the board. Test points are always easiest. My pic is showing the LED hooked up to the +5vdc
-Find a suitable placement spot on the front of the board
-Drill a small hole that doesn't touch any traces. Hold you board up to a light to make sure.
-Solder the black wire to the ground and the red wire to the location found in the first step.
-Screws can be used for mounting but I went with 2 sided sticky foam. A dab of silicone could also be used.
-Fire it up.
