Advice on first pin

Hi there,

Looking to get my first pinball, debating between a restored machine from a dealer and getting something privately.

Currently looking at a Fish Tales (I’m a fisherman and want a DMD machine if possible!), wondering what prices would be fair for either a private sale or a dealer who provides a refurb and warranty.

Any comments, and thanks!

Man - there's so many good games right now.
Go play some and find out what you like.
My fave game right now is BSD but it changes yearly lol

There are lots of new Stern games that are really good.

Looks like the search is on for a FT in decent condition. The more I see the more I think it’s the game I’m looking for...

Great advice from everyone. I just posted "some" of this in another thread.

Go and play pinball at a league night and see what machines you may like.
Go to any league. We all endorse each other and we play in multiple league's.

Decide what you want to own before you jump. Once you jump, 1 is not enough.

Good luck. Happy Pinball...
Cheers. Salut. All the best.

PS: I have owned Fish Tales twice. I want one again...

Possible Ripleys Believe it or Not in my price range...any comments? Looks pretty interesting, like the theme actually (those odditoriums are pretty campy and weird)...and the reviews are generally positive?

Still really want a FT, but this may be a good intro! Thanks again for the replies.
