Hi everyone!
which product do you guys use to clean a playfield on recent pins?
Pins like Stern Turtles, Avengers, Deadpool, JJP Willy Wonka, Dialed in etc......that have a clearcoat already on the playfield.

...and where to buy this cleaning product from?

Thanks!

Yeah Novus 2. Not 1.

Never use water based products. Ever. It will find its way into the playfield and cause the wood to swell.

I buy it at a local Harley Davidson dealer.

Just a heads up. Novis 2 has an abrasive in it (mild). No to ramps and plastics! (and probably day to day cleaning). great for good deep cleaning though. I usually use it once I buy a used pin (along with replacing balls).
I would use something milder for day to day.
And 50/50 mixture of isopropyl and distilled water is usually what people use for glass

Thanks for the ideas.
Novus 2 is a bit abrasive, might be good for harder cleaning but for day to day cleaning I was thinking something milder for the playfield.
Agree not to use water-based ones.
Still thinking, if someone knows one product besides novus that stands out I'd be interested!

Novus 2 has been used for cleaning pins for decades. There's a steel ball rolling around. That's way more abrasive. A clean chamois with a small amount of Novus will do. Don't break out the power tools.

Just be sure to wax the playfield after cleaning. That will protect and make it easier to clean. Again, no water based products, just plain carnuba wax.

Thx for your replies;
(I thought Novus 1 was more adapted for day-to-day cleaning because it has no abrasive component.)

Be careful “over cleaning”. All new manuals have suggestions on how to take care of games.

Best to read this thread; all you need to know:

***pinside. Vids guide.

This wax was suggested to me:

***mothers liquid pure carnuba wax.

This was also suggested in the article:

***micro vacuum attachment kit.

Good luck!

CP-100 seems a fine product. Light and non abrasive for regular soft cleaning;
Wondering if we can purchase it in Canada.
