In the last week or so I have noticed a strong ozone or chlorine type smell in my pinball and arcade game room. the games are all technically unplugged via smart switches and I have since unplug the smart switches from the wall as well yet the smell remains.

Any thoughts or ideas here? I am at a loss.

Ozone take a while to dissipate especially if it’s in an enclosed space/basement. Sounds like you had electrical arcing on something... what else is electrical in that room?

try airing it out. Then find the culprit.

I have aired it out once...it came back. Will try again.

As for what is in the room...DMDs 1x arcade with CRT. Fish tank (pump, heater) mini fridge some LED strip lights, Roomba and a Fan.

Everything except the fish tank and the beer fridge is unplugged. Will air out again.

It may have dissipated. however it has been rainy and thunderstorms here for a few days and as I understand that fills the environment with a ozone smell, so the smell may just be masked.

Roomba is clean (love that little guy)
If the smell comes back, I will move the fridge to another room and see what happens.
