Hey All.

I've been sitting on my disassembled DE JP for far too many years and have decided to let it go to someone as a winter project rebuild.

That said, I have been slowly collecting mods which I had hoped to one day use in my JP.

Only the playfield is used, and is dirty overall but has zero warp and a great candidate for hole repair, art touch-up and clear. My dream was to sand this down and have a whole new art drawn up... It was not to be (too many projects ;).

The actual mods are all new with some of them no longer available. Motorized Gate, backlit scoop signs and the resin sculpt T-REX was from the last run prior to the artist switching to 3D print. The resin is solid/superior to a 3D print.

EDIT: T-REX - the metal frame, coil etc... are NOT included. Only the sculpted pieces as you would order them. I left them on the frame for this picture only.

I have $1500 in items here and open to trade ideas. If you have mods*, ColorDMDs, PinSounds etc... let me know. My collection of pins can be seen on Pinside (for pin reference*)

My first preference will be to trade out the lot, not sure at this point if I want to part it out.

Thanks.
~d

P.S. - I missed a couple of mods, see post below.

Well, it looks like I missed some mods!

I have two custom JP trough opto boards which completely replace the switches. I purchased two with a wiring harness each and are brand new.

Only 1 PCB and 1 harness required per pin. Each PCB comes with a 3D case but more importantly a 3D printed solder-side PCB back cover (to prevent the PCB from contacting/shorting out on anything)

Quote from the designer:
"The ball trough design by Data East is not the most reliable mech in pinball. I have tried new microswitches, old Cherry switches, finetuned the angle - without stable result. I have also sanded the ball trough.

Then, I started to think about a non-contact based solution. There is a reason why Bally/Williams introduced opto boards, and the answer is not cost saving.
My goal was to create an opto board, without any modification of ball trough (no drilling): this means a transceiver and receiver in 1 board, 2 in 1. Therefore, the classic solution (infrared light interrupted by ball), doesn't work here.

No more waiting after ball drain, no more ball search due to clogging. I guess it works in GNR, Tommy, Last Action Hero, Tales from the Crypt, and WWFRR."
