Just to put peoples minds at ease in case they are thinking of checking this place out. I know at the end you kind of mention that someone else takes care of the pins, and you thought it might be Starburst. I doubt that's the case as Starburst basically doesn't do anything to maintain any of the pins that they have on location. (Unless Starburst out west does things differently, but I highly doubt that...)

The machines at Denizen Hall all have strong flippers, are level, clean, and play REALLY nice. They get played often, but you can tell that someone really cares about them and puts the time in to keep them well maintained. I definitely recommend checking this place out if you're in the Edmonton area.

I'm sure most people are familiar with the little arcades in the Edmonton and Calgary airports and the opposite is true with these. Dirty, half the stuff doesn't work. On the bright side, it's always a fun challenge to try to get a replay with junk flippers and some of the major features of a game not working at all...

You're right. The bartender wasn't sure who maintained the pins but mentioned that the same people who they bought the games from maintain them...well, he's almost sure anyways. But ya, the games play very well. The airport arcade was fun for the reasons you mentioned above. I didn't feel as guilty shaking and bumping them a bit harder as they weren't in the greatest shape. Great experience playing :)
